AI, in plain English
You already have the wisdom.
We’ll handle the tech.
AI is not a test you can fail. It is a tool that answers questions in plain English — and we will show you how to use it at your own pace, with no jargon and no rush.
Free to read. Nothing to install. Start anywhere you like.
What is AI, and how can it help?
Artificial intelligence is software that has read an enormous amount of writing and learned the patterns in it. That is genuinely all it is. It is not alive, it is not watching you, and it has no opinion about whether your question is a silly one.
What it can do is useful. Ask it something and it answers. Ask it to explain the answer more simply and it will. Ask it to write the difficult letter, or read the confusing one, and it will do that too — patiently, at two in the morning, for the fifth time.
My doctor said “atrial fibrillation.” What does that mean?
It means the upper chambers of your heart are beating irregularly. It is common, it is manageable, and there are good treatments. Would you like some questions to bring to your next appointment?
Yes please. And keep it short.
-
It answers plainly
Ask in ordinary words. Get an ordinary answer. Ask again if it missed.
-
It listens
Speak instead of typing. Useful when hands or eyes are having a hard day.
-
It keeps watch
Spots the scam email, remembers the passwords, flags the odd charge.
-
It brings people closer
Calls that connect first time. Photos that reach everyone at once.

The learning path
Five levels, at whatever pace suits you
Start at Level 1 or skip straight to what you need. Nothing is locked, nothing expires, and no one is keeping score.
- Level 1: First Steps By the end you will have had your first real conversation with an AI assistant — and found it unremarkable, in the best way. About 2 hours, spread over as long as you like
- Level 2: Curious Explorer You will be able to get a useful answer on the first or second try, most of the time. About 3 hours
- Level 3: Practical Navigator AI stops being a novelty and starts saving you real time each week. About 4 hours
- Level 4: Confident Companion You will handle multi-step requests and sort out small problems yourself. About 4 hours
- Level 5: Wise Guide You will be the person in your circle that others ask. Ongoing

This works better together
At AISavvySeniors, we honor your wisdom while introducing new AI tools to enhance your life. We believe that your life experience paired with today’s tech creates a powerful blend. Our mission is to help you learn AI with ease, at your own pace, and in ways that truly add joy and value to your daily life.
We make AI simple to grasp and use. No tech speak — just clear steps and real help when you need it.
We are just getting started, which means the stories on this site are still being written — by people like you. If something here helped, or if you got wonderfully stuck and worked it out, we would like to hear about it.
